Which famous people drive a jaguar? We look at celebrities who drive jaguar. Our list includes Patrick Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Elton John And Queen Elizabeth II.
Celebrities Who Drive Jaguar
As a luxury car manufacturer, it's not surprising that the Jaguar Brand has plenty of admirers amongst the ranks of global celebrities.
From their inception, Jaguar vehicles were symbols of style and post-war success. Therefore, from the earliest models of the 1950s, artists, musicians, actors, and models have all included at least one Jaguar in their collections.
As one of the most desirable and famous of the Jaguar models, the E-Type is definitely a favourite for the entries on this list, with almost all of them having owned one at one time or another.
But there are plenty of other Jaguar models popular with the upper crusts of society. This is a testament to the Jaguar brand and all the luxury and celebrity quality it stands for. So, without further ado, here is our list of the most famous celebrities to have a Jaguar in their collection.
Simon Cowell
Music executive, entrepreneur and television personality Simon Cowell definitely has money to burn. But rather than do that, he's filled his garage with an impressive array of vehicles. Among them is an incredibly rare Jaguar E-Type.
Andy Murray
Wimbledon champion and three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray also has a taste for luxury vehicles. More environmentally conscious than other car enthusiasts, Sir Andrew has a Jaguar I-Pace in his car collection.
Patrick Stewart
Frequently celebrated superstar of the stage and screen, Patrick Stewart, besides captaining the USS Enterprise on Star Trek, also has a Jaguar XJS convertible in his luxury fleet.
Posh & Becks
Globally famous in their respective fields of pop music and football, this superstar couple became style icons when they first got together. Along with their iconic status came the need to travel in an equally luxurious style. The Beckham garage contains A Jaguar X.K., a new Jaguar F-Type, Jaguar E-Type and a Jaguar X.J.
George Harrison
The most petrol-headed of the fab four, George Harrison owned plenty of flashy motors during his life, including a McLaren F1 and an Aston Martin DB5.
As the story goes, the fifth Beatle, their genius manager Brian Epstein, bought Harrison a Jaguar E-Type as a 21st birthday present. As birthday presents go, beautiful cars are one of the best, but what would you expect for a member of the biggest band in the world?

Harrison Ford
Another acting legend on the list, Harrison Ford, is most famous for his roles as adventuring archaeologist Indiana Jones and as the greatest smuggler in the Galaxy, Han Solo, in the Star Wars franchise. Interestingly, he also has a passion for Jaguar cars and owns a stunning 1955 Jaguar XK 140 in British racing green.
Queen Elizabeth II
Being a British brand, it only makes sense for the British Royal Family to be fans of Jaguar. For most state and formal occasions, the royals use their fleet of Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles. However, Queen Elizabeth II often reiterated her love for British-made Land Rovers and Range Rovers throughout her reign, owning several through the years.
Frank Sinatra
Yet another music legend with great taste in cars, Old Blue Eyes was there for the reveal of the Series 1 Jaguar E-Type back in 1961. It's not surprising that a style icon like Frank Sinatra knew quality when he saw it and is reported to have said, 'I want that car, and I want it now', on first viewing the E-Type.
Peter Sellers & Britt Ekland
Peter Sellers was one of the most celebrated English comedians of all time. Starting his career on the radio alongside fellow Goons Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe, he found further success portraying the bumbling French detective Chief Inspector Clouseau in the original Pink Panther movies.
Britt Ekland is an acting, modelling and singing legend in her own right, starring in films such as Get Carter and the original Wickerman. Therefore, when they married in 1964, they became a super couple, complete with their own Jaguar E-Type, making them true icons of the 1960s.

Tony Curtis
As one of the greatest actors of the 20th century, Tony Curtis has an impressive filmography. From The Vikings, with Kirk Douglas, to Some Like it Hot, with Marilyn Monroe and The Sweet Smell of Success, with Burt Lancaster, there are few who can best him. He also had an impressive list of motors in his garage, including a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III coupe and, of course, a Jaguar E-Type roadster.
Elton John
As one of the best-selling artists of all time, it won't surprise you that when Elton John isn't sitting behind his piano, he's cultivating a truly unbelievable collection of classic cars. Amongst the Porsches, Ferraris, Bentleys and Mercedes, the Rocketman had both a 1965 Jaguar XKE 4.2-Litre Series I Roadster and a Jaguar E-Type, the latter of which was auctioned off in 2012.
Steve McQueen
Another acting heavyweight of the 1960s, Steve McQueen, was a notorious car enthusiast, made most obvious by his film Les Mans from 1971. He was the leading man in a number of other hits from the era, including The Great Escape, Pappillon and Bullitt. Like his fellow mid-century stars, McQueen was a Jaguar fan and owned an E-Type amongst his impressive collection of cars and motorcycles.
George Best
One of the greatest British footballers ever to grace the pitch, the Northern Irish winger for Manchester United was as famous for his playboy lifestyle and personal problems as he was for the goals he scored. When summarising his career, Best said, "I spent a lot of money on booze, birds [women] and fast cars – the rest I just squandered". Funnily enough, he spent his hard-earned money wisely on a Jaguar E-Type.
Brigitte Bardot
One of the most famous women in the world, our final 60s icon on the list, is B.B. herself. She gained fame as a model, singer and actress and became one of the earliest sex symbols of post-war France.
The hedonistic and sexually-liberated characters she portrayed not only secured her this title but inspired philosophical essays on the matter, making her not only a cultural icon but an existential one too. Being such a stylish celebrity, it shouldn't surprise you to know that she was often seen cruising around in her Jaguar E-Type.
